What we do:

Our main objective is to create a fun yet stimulating environment where the children can continue to develop their social, physical, intellectual and emotional skills. We endeavour to create a caring 'home away from home' environment where children can relax and feel relaxed and comfortable after their day at school. We cater for all age groups, classes and needs.

The afternoon routine revolves around the children and ensuring that all of their needs are met, whether these are big or small.

Each after-school space consists of a fun filled activity area and a dining/homework area. Our homework and dining area is simply laid out so as to provide a calm and relaxing environment with no unnecessary distractions. This allows the children to enjoy a nutritious meal or snack, and complete homework duties.

Opening Hours:

Monday to Friday – 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

(Opening hours work in line with the school academic year)

The community bus transports children (accompanied by a staff member from after school) to and from Dernakesh National School each day – both at 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. There is also an option to pick up school children at 2 p.m. and return to school for bus journey home at 3 p.m.
